Quality control

The manufacturing and assembly of our foundry and machining parts are controlled according to the ISO 9001:2015 quality process. Vhm FONDERIE produces finished products that meet the highest quality standards. All procedures are implemented to ensure quality monitoring through inspections. Consequently, at every stage of the manufacturing process, we carry out rigorous quality monitoring of parts and processes. To meet the client’s specifications, we perform the following inspections:

• Analysis and characterization of molding sands,
• Thermal analysis and spectrometry of metallurgical composition:

• Structure inspection through micrography:

• Mechanical and dimensional characteristics (conventional inspection and 3D optical machine):

• Shot blasting analysis and characterization:

• Coating thickness and adhesion inspection:

• Air tightness / porosity testing,
• Non-destructive testing: dye penetrant, ultrasonic thickness measurement, X-ray inspection, magnetic particle inspection.

Upon request, we can provide a 3.1 material certificate according to the EN 10204 standard to certify manufacturing control. Beyond analyses, and guided by our philosophy of continuous improvement, our quality control approach aims to identify anomalies, determine their causes, and implement solutions. Consequently, throughout the entire production chain, Vhm FONDERIE ensures quality monitoring in compliance with market requirements, standards, and client specifications.
