MECHANICAL WELDING

Vhm FONDERIE makes the equipment of its mechanical welding workshop available for your welding assembly processes, to produce your mechanically welded assemblies as single pieces or in small series. The materials used are: steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Certified QS according to the NF ISO 9606-1 standard, our welders are capable of performing all mechanical welding and sheet metal work on an industrial subcontracting basis. Their skills include MIG welding, TIG welding, stick welding, and spot welding.

Our equipment also allows us to perform sawing, bending, gouging, and curving operations in addition to welding. Laser or waterjet cutting is entrusted to nearby Alsatian partners for faster turnaround and greater responsiveness.

Vhm FONDERIE has partnered with qualified specialists to enhance the value of your assemblies and offers the following surface treatments:

  • Hot-dip galvanizing to improve corrosion resistance
  • Polyzinc: a zinc-based primer made from an epoxy resin formulation and a blend of zinc particles to prevent corrosion from spreading if the paint film is damaged
  • Painting: epoxy powder, polyester, mixed, or liquid coatings
  • Aluminum anodizing and stainless steel passivation for corrosion protection
